If you think back to any social justice issue, from ending the death penalty, to reproductive rights, Heather Booth was there. She is one of the most prolific activists of her time and I had the absolute joy and pleasure to speak with her at the beginning of the month. Whenever you feel hopeless, my best advice is to just sit down and watch this video.
