Peggy Flanagan is the current Lieutenant Governor of Minnesota, and, on Wed, Aug 20, I had the pleasure to speak with her. In her daughters words, the work of an LG is to “go on field trips and help people” and, really, that’s what it boils down to, and being in the Senate isn’t all that different. But those field trips change lives and she helps people in so many lasting ways, from raising the minimum wage to keep up with inflation to creating the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Relatives office through inspiring bipartisan work.
I hope you enjoy getting to know LG Flanagan as much as I enjoyed introducing her to you!
