I had the pleasure of meeting with Rep Seth Magaziner (RI-02) this past week. It was a short interview but chock full. On Sept 3 he introduced the “Restore Trust In Congress Act” which would ban congressional stock trading. Now you might be asking, can it pass? Well, it might not be about that. He gives a great insight into messaging, and why he still supports bipartisanship, whenever possible, including with this bill, which he introduced with Chip Roy, you might even accept his reasoning, who can tell.
