Each and every one of us has our limits; those times when we did not run into a wall, but rather when the walls and ceiling have collapsed upon us. Recognizing this for what it is, is an absolute necessity. Tomorrow, or the day after that, or the day after that (ad infinitum, ad nauseum) will be another day. Meanwhile, each of us must take whatever time needed to extract ourselves from today's rubble. The most important outcome is to do what's necessary to accomplish that extraction. And, knowing one is not alone amongst the detritus, that others are also digging to free themselves (and others, including myself and yourself) needs to be held closely as encouragement.
bless you, Ariella-- I would've wished you a Happy Chanukah if we were friends regardless of news headlines. thank you for being there and consistent and also for being human and real and vulnerable when the situation calls for it. You and we will rise again. but self-care and nourishment first. (sorry about the lame latkes, by the way!)
Feeling what you feel, even if it's awful, is like lancing a boil. Relieve the pressure and cleanse the wound. It's been a horrendous year, and it's hard to sustain optimism day in and day out. We need the odd day (or two or three) to fall apart and reset...
Yup
It’s so much to process. And really, we’re not built for this constant inundation. Take as much time as you need. We’ll be here. 💙

Peace, and strength, be with us all. 😎✌️

It's a deal sealed with a hug!😍
I feel you, Ariella. I am wallowing today after all this tragedy. Working to hold gratitude with the anger and fear.
we're all with you, with each other

I’m so sorry. It’s a lot. Thank you for all that you do. It’s absolutely okay to rest and mourn. ❤️
Being human is hard. Revealing it is harder. Take good care.
Love and (((((HUGE HUGS))))), tomorrow will be better. 💜
Take care and rest Ariella. 🩷
You are a lovely human. It is a relay race. Take a break.
Sending love, 'cause that's what I've got. xoxo
