Steyer is right of course. There's no hope for single payer until we have a Democratic supermajority, and almost certainly an expanded Supreme Court. If he were honest about this across the board I'd feel better about him.

But I love your clarity and your respect for all the candidates. I'm grateful for everyone who's running as a Democrat right now. I'd love to see less bashing and more thoughtful, respectful analysis like this. Thank you! (And from the far east coast--go Becerra!)

While I appreciate your thinking, you leave out what I think is the most important thing to tell voters. No matter who you prefer when it comes to actually marking your ballot, vote as late as you can, and vote for whichever Democrat is leading the polls. it could be someone you don’t care for with good reason only those reasons won’t matter at all if a republican wins because of a split Democratic vote.

Also, when you look at voting polls, be clear about who did the poll . Is it a reputable w company, or is it done by a particular campaign? That might account for the big differences.

Love your comparison, which highlights how each and every candidate is qualified and without actually showing how they fall short, you showed how Becerra is better.. I don’t live in CA, but if I did, I would be sold on this.

That said I wish both Republican candidates lose the jungle primary somehow not just one!!!!
