I’m in Dallas. Early voting for the primary was precinct agnostic, meaning I could vote at any of my usual places (in my county). Early voting has been cut from 3 weeks and 2 weekends to 10 days with one weekend.

I do think there should’ve been postcards from the party telling everyone where their precinct was. Maybe with candidate info, but definitely a clear, easy to reference piece of paper. I’m going to get involved with my precinct to make sure that happens next time. The official website to find out your voting precinct location was a weird confusing one that I can see completely confusing folks.

Thanks for the fact-based explanation of the republican f*ckery. Too many people blaming Dems for lack of messaging, when they've been telling voters all along about the suppression tactics being employed in red states. That said, I'm still a bit disappointed in the turnout, and hope to see a larger % in November!

I didn't know it was THAT fucked up in Texas. As you said, it's good news that we got so many votes despite the spraying efforts. Thanks for pointing it all out, esp. that the fight continues, today is promising but not a victory yet!
