I know we aren't supposed to feel doomed, but it is disconcerting that Dem leadership seems to be absent, incompetent, and unable to rise to the occasion. How is it that the top 4 Democratic contenders for the California primary were / are so flawed? Or that Newsome hasn't called for low polling candidates to drop out of the primary?
This is especially disheartening when we look at Hungary and realize nothing like that is possible in America. Not just for structural reasons of the Senate only electing 1/3 of it's members, but Democrats won't act like an opposition party and lay out an aggressive anti-corruption platform.
I'm a former employee of Steyer. Mahan is Becerra will do. Anyone but Steyer.
