Three Wins Today: Nov 19, 2025
Take a deep breath, ignore the deluge of needless questions
Here, have some hopium! I know, that’s always what this series is about, but I have Epstein file hopium, which I think everyone could use.
I was in a meeting this morning and I have answers for the countless doomerism that made me log off of Threads last night.
Long yap incoming!
I cannot say this clearly enough, the lawyers and Dems in congress have thought of every single possible scenario in regards to the files being released or not released. If you have thought of it for even a second, they have been working on a contingency plan for months.
We will know if things have been redacted that shouldn’t be. There are whistleblowers throughout the government, and you don’t even have to trust me on that, just look at every single case against this administration that has been litigated so far. They all have multiple people who had insider info that made the case possible.
There is no way they could mess with the documents without someone who is talking to the lawyers working on this case knowing.
And, burning documents is not part of Trump’s immunity, and there is a five year statute of limitations. He would be prosecuted.
It’s also worth noting that as much shit as he’s done, he hasn’t defied court orders. Maybe he will cross that line in the future (though his control is rapidly weakening), but it hasn’t happened yet. That’s really important to remember.
I have seen so many comments saying he will do a pocket veto. Maybe, but he’s not ignorant, he knows that if this was bad for him politically, a pocket veto would be a thousand times worse. The court of public opinion is a phrase for a reason. Do not think for a moment we aren’t the ones with the power here. If he fucks this up for the survivors in any way things will get astronomically worse for him, and it will be their mission to get his approval rating into the 30s.
There is also criminal contempt charges on the table for anyone who impedes the release of the files. We have a good judge, the lawyers on our side trust that they will do the right thing.
As far as investigations go, Trump can put as many people under investigation for this as he wants, but he’s not going to put himself under investigation. The more people in Epstein’s circle the DOJ puts under investigation, the easier it will be to argue that everything involving Trump must be released in full. He’s painted himself into a corner and that corner is getting narrower every day.
Finally, yes, most of these documents have second copies somewhere in the world. These lawyers are some of the best we have. We have to trust that they have thought of everything.
So I hope that helps. I hope you’re breathing a little easier than you were five minutes ago.
Bottom line, trust the lawyers. If we’ve learned anything in the last 10 months, it’s how incredible and ready for any situation these lawyers are.
And this fight to save Democracy would not be possible without them.

Nationwide
Wed, Nov 12 - Several denominations, across Judaism and Christianity have written an open letter in support of the trans and intersex communities.
And when I say several, I don’t mean a couple, or a few, I mean eight. Eight varying traditions across two distinct religions came together for this interfaith message.
These communities include: Unitarian Universalist, Quaker, Metropolitan Community Churches, The Fellowship for Affirming Ministries, Reform Judaism, Presbyterian Church, United Church of Christ and Reconstructionist Judaism
The letter begins:
As heads of diverse religious traditions in the United States, our faiths call on us to proclaim that transgender, intersex, and nonbinary people deserve respect, love, and equal rights. During a time when our country is placing their lives under increasingly serious threat, there is a disgraceful misconception that all people of faith do not affirm the full spectrum of gender – a great many of us do. Let it be known instead that our beloveds are created in the image of God – Holy and whole.
What an important message to spread always, but especially right now. I hope we can get similar letters from other religions and denominations in the future.
Indiana
Fri, Nov 14 - Indiana has become the second Republican controlled state to end redistricting efforts, for the time being, at least.
The office of Senate President Pro Temp Rodric Bray sent a statement to various publications saying:
Over the last several months, Senate Republicans have given very serious and thoughtful consideration to the concept of redrawing our state’s congressional maps. Today, I’m announcing there are not enough votes to move that idea forward, and the Senate will not reconvene in December.
Their 2026 midterm filing deadline is Feb 6, so, they could technically still change their mind, but it seems very unlikely at this point.
Especially since today would have been the day to vote for a Dec 1 special session, and 19 Republicans voted with the 10 Dems against it.
So, that’s it. Indiana will likely keep their two Dem Reps.
New Orleans, Louisiana
Sat, Nov 15 - There were elections across Louisiana on Saturday, but one of the most exciting was Orleans Parish Clerk-elect, Calvin Duncan. He was wrongfully imprisoned for murder for 40 years. In 2021 he was exonerated, with the help of the Innocence Project. While in prison he helped his fellow inmates by giving them legal advice, and when he was released, he got a bachelors in paralegal studies from Tulane and a law degree from Lewis and Clark.
This race consisted of two Dems, but his incumbent opponent Darren Lombard ran into some hot water when it became apparent that records, including rape and murder cases, dating back to the 1950s, were just tossed in the landfill, Lombard insists it was done without his approval but the damage was done.
The turnout was high, for an election of this kind, 21% of voters turned out, and Duncan won overwhelmingly with 68% of the vote.
The job of the clerk is to oversee elections and prepare court dockets and maintain court records. And I can’t think of anyone better to do that than someone who was failed by this exactly position.
He said:
It’s been my dream...to make it so nobody has to fight for their records. Evidence shouldn’t be lost and 30 years later tested and it’s discovered, ‘Oh, we got the wrong person. I wish I could start right now today.
While he can’t start right now, he will be starting soon, and I have no doubt, Orleans Parish will be better with him in that job.
So I hope this helped you feel better about everything. Like I tell Doomerella, there are so many wins, we don’t have to say “finally, something good!” cause there’s good things all the time. Please remember that.
Our voices are our superpower, but only when we use them!

Thank you for your post glad to see this much appreciated
