Three Wins Today: July 2, 2025
It’s late, really late, but like…I mean, we didn’t expect the Republican circus to be this much of a circus. I woke up this morning dreading looking at my phone, and now I’m not sure this procedural vote will even be closed by the time I wake up.
So here is a very very very rapid fire three wins.
Mon June 30 - Key West City Commission voted 6-1 to void the ICE agreement that allowed to local police to work with ICE. And given that we are talking about Florida, they really are putting a lot on the line by doing this.
Brian Fitzpatrick fled after voting no on the vote to proceed to debate and Johnson is not amused (yes this is real life). He was a surprise no vote and it could be because of the die-in his constituents had at his office today.
The Little Lobbyist visited over two dozen Republican Reps offices today to try to convince them to oppose the bill.
