Three Wins Today July 16, 2025
Soo I have some really big meetings coming up this week and next week, and I hope to be able to share more soon. It’s only a matter of time before I have a contact for every single living elected Dem. Which is really exciting, and I can’t wait to grow my connections even more.
Anyway, here are three of today’s wins!
Mon, July 14 - AvelNO Airlines will say they’re closing their west coast operations because they’re no longer “financially viable” but maybe that’s because they’re being protested every single day for transporting kidnapped immigrants for ICE. We’ll never know the truth, except, we do, we definitely do. Good job AvelNO protesters!
Tues, July 14 - Republican New Hampshire Governor, Kelly Ayotte, vetoed multiple bills put forth by the Repbulican legislature. The biggest is a bill that would have fined librarians for having certain books. It’s HB 324 and when vetoing it, she said:
Current State law appears to provide a mechanism for parents through their local school district to exercise their rights to ensure their children are not exposed to inappropriate materials. Therefore, I do not believe the State of New Hampshire needs to, nor should it, engage in the role of addressing questions of literary value and appropriateness, particularly where the system created by House Bill 324 calls for monetary penalties based on subjective standards.
Surprising, but very welcome response from a Republican.
Tues, July 14 - Due to public outcry, Orange County Florida is looking stop holding ICE abductees who have done nothing wrong except exist as immigrants in this country. It’s not a done deal yet, but it’s a win cause it shows that public pressure makes a difference, maybe not every time, but, certainly a lot of the time.
So those are just some of today’s wins, I hope it reminds you how much power we have!
Our voices are our superpower, but only when we use them!

I have surgery tomorrow and have to take it easy this evening, but my heart is totally out there with John Lewis and his heirs, among whom I consider myself. Ariella, you and among them, too, and I am so grateful you're making good trouble. Loved the news about the likely impact on that airline transporting ICE detainees. More, more, more good trouble! YES!!!
BTW, for those looking to honor John Lewis by protesting tomorrow, Thursday the 17th, find a place to make some "Good Trouble":
