Three Wins Today: July 1, 2025
Today has been a whirlwind, but in the midst of all the chaos and cowards like Murkowski deciding to be a villain instead of saving the day, we still have wins worth celebrating.
So let’s talk about three of them!
Yesterday - Cook Policial Report just changed their rating for NE-02 from lean Republican to lean Dem when Don Bacon announced his retirement.
Now that Bacon has decided to not run for reelection, we’re moving this district from Toss Up to Lean Democrat. While this race remains highly competitive, Democrats should have an advantage in 2026, and it’s become the number one seat on the party’s target list.
Go Nebraska go!
Joshua Aaron, who has worked in tech for two decades, had created ICEBlock, an app that alerts you if ICE is in your area. It already has 20k users in the LA area. He told CNN yesterday:
When I saw what was happening in this country, I wanted to do something to fight back. We’re literally watching history repeat itself.
We all have skills we can use to help save the world right now, his are in making an app, what are yours?
The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee has created a website called House Republican Price Hike. They say:
PRICES ARE UP!* Under Republicans, costs have soared and Americans are paying more than ever. Don’t believe us? Select your items below, head to check out, and see for yourself just how much more you're paying at the grocery store. Then, share the receipt with your friends so they know the truth.
This might be a great in with convincing friends and family that what’s happening right now matters. I know this isn’t the most important thing to you, but, for someone that only cares about themselves and prices, this might have an impact.
So those are the wins I have for you. It’s a stressful day but we still have so many wins. Never forget that.
Our voices are our superpower, but only when we use them!

Appreciate you sharing wins. 💐 Trying out the Price Hike site and sharing a personal story. And tagging my U.S. Representative.
That price hike website is a good idea
