I have a headache, and it’s so much later than I wanted it to be, so I’m gonna make this quick.
On April 25, Propublica did a great article outlining exactly what’s going on with Avelo Air, the airline that is contracted with ICE. Apparently AG William Tong is threatening to remove their tax exempt status. I love that for them.
15 MA State Senators, about 1/4 of the body, spoke up during an informal session today about the harms DT is already and will be causing on their communities. It sounds like they held the floor, but I didn’t see that exact language used.
Republican Illinois Appelate court Judge James Knecht doesn’t blame DT, but does blame Pam Bondi, and accuses the DOJ of acting like Hitler in how they handled arresting Judge Hannah Dugan. It’s a crack, A massive crack.
