❤️ How would we ever know the expanse of positive energy out in this wacky country without your diligence?? 💗

you might not, and that really sucks, cause I shouldn’t be the only one spreading it.

How do we get the democratic structure to amplify and broadcast in a tiered local and national way? More resources need to go to getting the news to outlets that are not partisan-only distribution. 🤷🏽‍♀️ I’ve even sent things to my conservative tiny town supervisor because I know she is uninformed.

Can you elaborate on what you mean?

I’ve been on a county Dem committee in red rural upstate NY where it feels like no news like this is accessible to the general public. If the Nat’l dems gave the state Dems templates and perhaps funding, maybe local papers could print weekly small ads that show this kind of energy… just a thot.

Have you thought of writing a letter to the editor or an op ed or something?

I do it all the time. They publish me as often as policy allows in Times Journal (local Schoharie County paper) and Mountain Eagle (Delaware, Schoharie, Greene County).

Katie Hobbs' veto letter from February 18 is good reading. She writes, "Making it less convenient to vote is something I have consistently said I cannot support." https://mcusercontent.com/44a5186aac69c13c570fca36a/files/b0dc3bd5-7849-c4ef-3da2-3938d04b26b0/Scan_from_GOV9_Exec_Xerox8170_3_.pdf

Thanks, Ariella! Here's something I was reading: Arizona's democratic governor has been a bad-bill vetoing machine. The most recent veto I saw is from April 18.

Here is her letter from April 18th vetoing the Arizona ICE Act, SB 1164, which "would have prevented state agencies and local governments from adopting policies banning cooperation with federal immigration authorities." https://mcusercontent.com/44a5186aac69c13c570fca36a/files/43eb542e-d4bc-82a9-84eb-a9a017b75d40/04182025160327_0001.pdf

Yes indeed great wins today!!! So love the recess one!! And at the same time women’s right to health care as we’ve seen and know that abortion is also health care for emergency pregnancy issues!

Okay that bill in Tennessee is very much surprising. I mean yeah recess for the kids actually is a good idea especially if they actually can cut down on disciplinary issues later in the day and let the kids burn off that energy.
