It’s like you read my mind! Of course, I would never not vote for Democrat over a R - but this is the first time I am tempted. I live in a VERY blue district where it would be almost impossible for the R candidate to win. So I would so like not to reward the D candidate. But what if there are many like me and we all choose to leave that line blank? It would be a disaster! So I will absolutely be holding my nose and voting that line. Taking one for the team, I guess! You are 100% right, these fights will never end, and the Dems will have to build a local base NOW for 2028, and 2030, so that there can be a run like the GOP had fro 1994-2006.
