Shall the school board of Independent School District No. 239 (RushfordPeterson Schools) be authorized to issue its general obligation school building bonds in an amount not to exceed $24,015,000 to provide funds for the acquisition and betterment of school sites and facilities, including upgrades to security systems; the construction and equipping of additions to the school site and facility, including a storm shelter, elementary and high school classrooms, a gymnasium, flexible learning spaces and daycare rooms; renovations and updates to the family and consumer science (FACS) lab; the construction and equipping a vehicle maintenance facility; remodeling and upgrades to restrooms, lighting and finishes; and the completion of deferred maintenance projects at school sites and facilities?
Chisago Lakes School District Special Election ISD 2144
Question 1 would authorize the District to issue general obligation school building bonds in an amount not to exceed $63,710,000 for acquisition and betterment of school sites and facilities including, but not limited to, safety and security improvements at Taylors Falls Elementary, the Middle School and the High School, and various roofing replacement, parking lot improvement and various other capital projects district-wide.
