Rep (CA-37)
Held her State of the District event, which is all about details about what she’s been able to do for the district. I got to attend and it was incredibly eye opening.
Learning about parts of the job of Rep that are typically less flashy and get glossed over.
And she told Doomerella all about it too.
Rep Maggie Goodlander (NH-02)
was the first person I saw announce that the Secure Rural Schools Reauthorization Act passed the House by 399-5 and will be headed to Trump’s desk. This bill will help rural counties fund their schools, maintain their roads and so much more.
This is one of many examples where a bipartisan bill is such a good and exciting thing.
I’ve never done something like this before, so to say this was messy would be a bit of an understatement, but I am hoping to do more of these style of videos next year, so, at some point it will become second nature, along with how to make it into a text post. But again, work in progress.
Anyway, our voices are our superpower, but only when we use them!
