Tomorrow’s letter of the day will be T for town hall, because I’m just that petty.
Unfortunately, I didn’t think of this brilliant idea until long after I put together today’s stories, so in the meantime, here are other ways our Dems are fighting back!
Repping the Rep Emanuel Cleaver (MO-05)
Posted an article from Missouri Independent about a former Irish Republican Army soldier who self deported because he was terrified of being kidnapped by ice. And this isn’t exactly a unique story either.
Rep Val Hoyle (OR-04)
had Jeff Corwin in her office before he testified in front of the Natural Resources committee a few weeks ago to talk about Republicans trying to destroy protections for endangered species.
She posted this now as a reminder of what the top priority for Republicans is when they return to DC.
Rep Bill Foster (IL-11)
Was a guest on One Decision Podcast, he spoke about all things science and how Trump is trying to destroy it. In this clip he says the most ridiculous thing he’s heard was when a geologist lost his grant because he used the word intersectional in research on tectonic plates.

DNC ( The Blue Print)
Had today’s Daily Blueprint, and it was all about the Trump Texas Takeover, not just what’s happening, but how Dems are fighting back, and how we can fight back too.
I also thought I’d mention that Hannah swore. Not that that’s the only reason to watch, but it’s one reason.

Is in Illinois with the Texas Dems, and he spoke during their press conference today. But you should really watch the whole thing, it’s worth your time.

Sen Mark Kelly (AZ)
Explains all about how the EPA just overturned the “endangerment finding” which is basically how we regulate greenhouse gasses. You remember how we don’t talk about the hole in the ozone layer anymore? Yeah, the success of this is why.

Sent a letter to the head of the FAA demanding to know why the emergency protocol is very obviously not being followed, and why they aren’t keeping congress informed of changes and improvements.
