Repping the Rep: Don Norcross (NJ-01)
Secured over $6 million in federal funding for the 6 fire stations in Camden. 4/6 are over 100 years old and desperately in need of repair.
When these firehouses open there will be a ribbon cutting and attending will be an incredibly important use of Rep Norcross’ time.
Rep Stephen Lynch (MA-08)
Posted a video reminding Trump of how Boston deals with kings
We’re the home of the true tea party, it was Bostonians that tossed the king’s tea in to the harbor.
Yikes, maybe he wants to think twice before sending troops there. He won’t, but he should.
Rep Mike Levin (CA-49)
Cosponsored the Bipartisan Restore Trust In Congress Act, a bill introduced by Republican Rep Chip Roy (TX-01) and Rep Seth Magaziner (RI-02) which would ban congressional stock trading. This is something Rep Levin is very passionate about, and he will do everything in his power to make sure this bill passes the House and Senate:
We need speaker Johnson to allow this to proceed to the floor. I know my colleagues want to do this via regular order, via the committee process, via the normal way things should go, but I have to tell you I’m prepared to do whatever it takes to get this bill to the floor. It’s so critically important that we have an up or down vote in the House and the Senate on a stock trading ban and that we end the appearance of corruption, the appearance of self interest once and for all and begin the long work of restoring public trust in congress and our institutions.

Rep Yassamin Ansari (AZ-03)
Visited Eloy Detention Center last week. While there she met with so many desperate women, including Yari. Yari has cancer and the detention center won’t let her see a specialist:
Today I am using my voice to demand immediate medical attention, and I’m talking about specialized medical attention from an oncologist for Yari. she cannot wait one more day to receive the fair and humane treatment that she deserves.
If for any reason you think that Dem members of congress don’t care about their constituents, I hope you are paying attention to this story.

Visited Naval Station Great Lakes, which will be the holding area for ICE during their invasion of Chicago. Naturally no one wanted to speak to them:
Interestingly enough, we also request a tour and a visit with the ICE leadership, that are gonna be there, and have been there, and they very quickly gave all their people the day off today.
Isn’t it amazing how much they know what they’re doing is wrong. They wouldn’t run away if they could defend it.
