Our Democrats are fighting so hard, especially our Texas Dems like Rep Sylvia Garcia (TX-29) and Rep Julie Johnson (TX-32) who are doing everything they can to stop the Trump Texas Takeover.

Repping the Rep: Sylvia Garcia (TX-29)
Was part of the group of Texas representatives who Rep Hakeem Jeffries (NY-08) met with to come up with a game plan against the redistricting today. This group also included Texas Reps, Lloyd Doggett (TX-37), Greg Casar (TX-35), Lizzie Fletcher (TX-07), and Al Green (TX-09).
They also held a press conference with members of the state legislature.

Rep Julie Johnson (TX-32)
Is busing people from Dallas to Austin so that the most people possible are at tomorrow’s redistricting hearing. She also says that Rep Mark Veasey (TX-33) and Rep Jasmine Crockett (TX-30) are doing the same thing. I don’t think I got this out early enough so that you can reserve a seat but they’re leaving from Hamilton Park Methodist Church at 4 AM.

changed up the formatting of the Daily Blueprint today, and Hannah interviewed Cleveland Mayor and president of Dem Mayors Association, Justin Bibb. The DMA just had their conference this past weekend, and Mayor Bibb gave us a bit of a look at what they discussed. The fact that the DNC is interviewing mayors should tell you everything you need to know about their involvement at the local level.
Rep Mark Pocan (WI-02)
Interviewed Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers for this weeks “With Liberty and Justice for Some.” This seems to be his first sit down interview since he announced he’s not running for reelection.

Rep George Whitesides (CA-27)
Staff attended Palmdale Water District Customer Appreciation Day, where they learned about the work of projects like Pure Water AV which will create jobs and address climate change, by purifying waste water. And their facility is being built right now. I love that he’s bringing attention to this project.
Rep Joe Neguse (CO-02)
Is leading a lawsuit with 11 of his colleagues over the administration blocking them from entering ICE facilities. The other plantiffs include Reps: Adriano Espaillat (NY-13), Bennie Thompson (MS-02), (MD-08), (CA-42), Lou Correa (CA-46), Jason Crow (CO-06), Veronica Escobar (TX-16), Dan Goldman (NY-10), Jimmy Gomez (CA-35), Raul Ruiz (CA-25) and Norma Torres (CA-35). I know a lot of people have been waiting for this one so I am thrilled to say it is here, they are fighting back, exactly how you asked!
