Arielle - I was on an Indivisible call today. And I shared your Substack in the chat. And another person also shared your Substack! I posted all of the YouTubes from yesterday on Bluesky, too.

It’s not just that they are making cuts and firing people. The bigger issue is that they don’t (or haven’t articulated) any plan for doing a better job of providing those services. So we can infer that someone else will have to step up and provide those supports. Who will?

Protests are okay to raise awareness of issues and consequences. But if that’s all the Ds do then are just part of the problem and not the solution. They need to step up and explain how *they* (not Rs) are going to make sure people continue to be supported after the Rs are done hollowing out the Fed.

Thank you so much you actually really do cheer me up with your posts. I’ve stopped reading a lot of people on Substack who are depressing me so it’s pretty much you, Robert Hubble HCR And Jeff, Tiedrich!

Thank you so much for this - it's encouraging. Democrat politicians are beginning to respond with real strength.

Thank you for these updates, Ariella. They give me hope in the midst of this bleak time we’re living in.

Thank you for covering all of this. I didn’t watch the speech but it sounds like the Dems all did what they needed to and that rebuttal speech what perfect.
