Election Day is Every Tuesday: July 27-Aug 2, 2026
As always, this week there are elections. The biggie is GA-13 to replace Rep David Scott who died in April. If a Dem wins, which is very likely, this will bring the number of Dems in Congress back up to 213.
There are also two midterm primaries. which you probably haven’t heard anything about since they are in Guam and the Virgin Islands.
And finally there’s a referendum in a county in SC and a city council runoff in Lubbock TX.
So if you are registered to vote in any of the places mentioned above, please find a way to vote before polls close.
Remember, every single election matters, no matter how local.
