It should be standard practice to list in a text box next to a talking head the donors (AIPAC/Exxon) and the stock trades this politician is hiding with his/her charming talk. When I look up the voting records of people I thought I admired because I liked their shpiel, I am incredulous. It must be the non-disclosure that does the trick. Keep trading and taking money until we can legalize otherwise, but TELL US WHAT YOU'VE GOT UP YOUR SLEEVES, which will explain why you're not serving us.
I wouldn’t say I am “anti-bipartisan.” I am skeptical that very much can be accomplished across the aisle, BUT if he really thinks the Repubs would actually get behind banning stock trading along with Dems, then yeah. If we can find those issues, however small, I’m for it. I just have so little faith in the Republicans. I heard one Dem say recently in the context of the budget that Rs want to know what Ds want so that they can initially say “yes” and then turn around and say, “Nope, sorry!” In my opinion, just a bunch of corrupt middle schoolers.
Great prompt, Ariella - "One win in the past few weeks". I think of win as connecting with someone or showing up. Showing up - I attended a protest in Waltham a couple weeks ago. I signed up to send postcards sending accurate information to voters likely not to see accurate info; my house cleaner called me last week and told me her husband had been picked up by ICE and I was able to give her contact info for several ocganizations with immigration lawyer lists, and also got a response from one of her Representatives. None huge, but all something.

The text box on the screen idea might not be a law, but a custom, like picking up doggie doo never used to be a thing.

It’s great to listen to a congressman with integrity.
Great!!
Packages are good…. Also, this isn’t a package
If you don’t know what a bill package is, then you shouldn’t be talking about this at all
